Big Time Rush, an American pop-punk band was formed in the year 2009. The group is comprised of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They first signed with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. They appeared on Nickelodeon's television series, Big Time Rush. The series aired from November 28, 2009 through July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's first single for promotion, "Big Time Rush".
